Remodels leave a fine dust that settles into everything, and a regular clean only pushes it around. Post-renovation work is its own job: dust knocked down from the top of the room to the floor, surfaces wiped more than once, vents and returns cleaned, paint flecks and stickers scraped, and floors finished last, after everything above them is done.
Drywall dust keeps settling for days after the crews leave, so this usually takes a second, shorter pass. We plan for that from the start instead of pretending one visit does it.
